At first, I was enthusiastic about Simpline and then chose them as my fiduciary. Unfortunately, that was a mistake that cost me days of valuable time. I entrusted them with the competent completion of my tax return and annual financial statements. Unfortunately, I still had a HUGE fuss afterward, and I had to write countless emails with the tax authorities. Why? Because Simpline didn't consider it necessary to check my data for plausibility before submitting my tax return. The tax authorities did it, and it didn't work out! Why, as a self-employed person, would you entrust such matters to a fiduciary? Because you can assume that they take such important things into account that you, as a layperson, can't possibly know, and so you can avoid such battles with the tax authorities. I could have done the whole thing myself and it wouldn't have been any more work! I'm now with a large trust company registered with TreuhandSuisse, and, surprise, surprise: While they charge a much higher hourly rate, because they work far more efficiently and professionally, the bill for the annual financial statements and tax return was even slightly cheaper than with Simpline. And best of all, the tax authorities are leaving me alone :-)
