We had lunch. The sausage and the fried egg were delicious. The rösti consisted of warmed-up pieces of potato that had been in the pan for maybe two minutes; it had nothing to do with real rösti. The view was magnificent and the service charming. Go there, enjoy yourself, don't order the rösti, and you'll have a wonderful time.

The ascent from Kandersteg to the alpine farm by e-bike, along the still easily manageable road, was a special experience. The many changing landscapes invited us to make short stops. Upon arrival, the battery was empty. When I asked to recharge it, I was immediately given the opportunity. The very friendly staff catered to all our culinary needs amidst the varied scenery. We will gladly visit the Lohner alpine farm again.

Nice little farm restaurant. Fences around the terrace to keep the cows off. The toilet is an old-fashioned privy with a washbasin. It is clean, though. View of the mountains and the cows.
