Beautiful and easy hike with panoramic views of both Lauterbrunnen and Grindelwald valleys. The trail is mostly flat and well maintained, perfect for enjoying the scenery without too much effort. One of the most scenic and accessible routes in the region.
A beautiful walk taking you from the cable car to the opposite train station. The walk took us just over an hour and is fairly flat for the whole distance, especially once compared to surrounding walks! There is also a small picnic area just over the half way point where you can stop for a small rest. There's also a selection of shops and restaurants surrounding the train station the opposite side, which itself can either take you back down to Grindewald or across to Wengen (even to the top of Jugfraugh). Would recommend!
Not cheap to get up here & do this as a loop from Lauterbrunnen-Wengen-Kleine Scheidegg-Lauterbrunnen but the views are world class! Riding on the top of the Cable Car on the ‘Royal Ride’ was also a buzz & well worth the modest extra charge :) Only negative on the whole trek was a big swarm of flies on the crown at the top of the Royal Walk :(
My favorite hike in the Lauterbrunnen region. Great views of the mountains but also of Lauterbrunnen Valley and Grindelwald Valley. Mostly flat, and connects the gondola station to the train station
A group of 4 of us did this hike. We found it very easy for those who don't hike very often. There are lots of places to stop and rest. We even saw some families hiking with young kids and prams. We walked to Kleiner scheidegg and took the train down. Incredible views! It cost a fair bit to get up the cable car and down on the train but it was well worth it. We loved every minute.
On the most underrated place in the jungfrau region. It was amazing. Could not try the trail as it was covered with snow but not that cold due to sunny weather. The views are amazing 🤩 …
