Not recommended. I specifically asked for my document translation to be accepted in Zivilstandsamt, and when their translation was not accepted, they billed me almost the full initial price again to correct their mistake. There are better translators with better customer service, don't use this one UPD: The document was NOT accepted by the authorities despite what the representative is responding below. I went to a different company later to get a translation that was accepted. The issue is that the parents' last names have to be the same as mine in the birth certificate, and not as they are spelled in their international IDs. This agency clearly didn't know it (which would be fine per se), but assured me their translation would be fine.
I was very disappointed with the customer service. I had called to better understand how the translation process works before making an advance payment. Instead of providing guidance, the person on the phone told me: “We don’t give explanations or examples. You’ll just have to trust us.” This response felt dismissive and unprofessional. Transparency and clear communication are essential when offering a service, especially one that requires upfront payment. I decided not to proceed under these conditions. I hope this feedback encourages the company to improve its customer support and provide clearer information to future clients. Edit: Shortly after posting this review, I was personally called by the owner of the company. During the call, he told me I had 24 hours to delete my comment, otherwise “you will need to call the police for protection.” I was horrified that things escalated in this way, simply for sharing honest feedback. I find this behavior deeply inappropriate and intimidating. I hope this feedback encourages the company to reflect not only on its customer service, but also on how it responds to criticism.
Excellent service from UniTranslate, outstanding customer support, the translations were completed quickly, and the price was the best I found. I highly recommend them and will use their services again if needed.
