Luftseilbahn Seebodenalp — Grepperstrasse 43, 6403 Küssnacht, Switzerland

Although there is parking on the higher alp, which means there's no need to use this lift, it is a lovely cable car ride and works well using public transport. The bus stop is right in front and there are multiple options to take for connections using the trains. The cable car runs every half hour but if there are ten people waiting to go, they'll do an extra ride. Check to see the timings as you plan your visit. The Seebodenalp is a really lovely Alp with real life farmers and in summer, many herds of cows grazing. They've made it an attractive place to go with children too. The walks range from easy to challenging and it's easily adapted to how you feel. (Short cuts and return points.) I recommend the lovely walk along the ridge to the Alpwirtschaft Räbalp, where you'll experience Swiss style Alp food and hospitality. There's also a beautiful little chapel right near the cable car exit to bless your time there with.

Nice easy walk. You can take a cable car or get to Seebodenalp by car. I chose cable car. Easy walk for everyone. If you want something more challenging... You will find your paths here too. You can hike up to Rigi.

Amazing place. I have lived not too far from here for 3 years and didn't realise what a gem it is to find. Great hikes both easy and a bit more challenging. Lots of food places (but check on a Monday as it's the quiet day) toilets and nice people operating the gondola.

Stood queuing for the lift up for 2hrs.. probably another 200 people queuing. Can only guess they are operating with less gondolas...
