I visited the Salt Store Langenthal on two consecutive days to buy the cheapest prepaid SIM for a children’s watch. From the beginning, I clearly explained that I did not want a postpaid subscription and that I did not need a watch. Despite this, the front-desk staff repeatedly tried to sell me a postpaid plan and a kids watch instead of answering my simple question about prepaid. On the first day, after around 20 minutes in the store and several occasions where the front-desk staff went back and forth between the counter and the back office to discuss the situation with the manager, I was told that prepaid costs CHF 14. I was then sent home because I didn’t have my permit with me, even though I am already a Salt postpaid customer. I returned the next day with my permit, and the same situation happened again. There were two front-desk sales representatives involved, and once again they repeatedly went back and forth between the counter and the back office to discuss internally with the manager, without clearly explaining anything to me. In the end, I was told that prepaid costs CHF 50. I confirmed the price several times (“fünf-null”), because my German is not perfect and I wanted to be absolutely sure I understood correctly. When I mentioned that Salt’s website clearly shows prepaid for CHF 10, I was told that this was “not possible” and that it must be a postpaid offer. After yet another occasion where the front-desk staff went back and forth between the counter and the back office to discuss the situation with the manager, I decided to leave the store. I then went to a nearby Lyca Mobile kiosk and bought a prepaid SIM in 5 minutes for CHF 20 (CHF 10 credit + 2 GB data), without any pressure or confusion. I understand that sales staff have targets, but this experience was unnecessarily frustrating, time-consuming, and misleading. Buying a basic prepaid SIM should not require two visits, long discussions, and constant upselling. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend this store.
Netter Service.

I'm not very happy since this foreign woman started working there every day. It was better when Mr. Ehzan was there. This lady, the manager, always has something to complain about whenever I go. She wanted a deposit slip and threatened me, saying I'd better pay it in the shop. Now I have to go back again tomorrow because of it. Then she made her remarks: "Aha, you have four numbers." That's not right, she had a subscription. There were always calls from other people. She only gave me new numbers; she didn't delete the first one. I find this lady very unfriendly. This foreign woman, the manager, wouldn't give me a deposit slip. No, she said I should pay 385 or my account would be blocked. That's not true at all. And above all, it's none of her business how many numbers I have. I was in another store, much friendlier, and they didn't make any accusations. Alhamdulillah, the Langenthal store is dead to me.
The saleswoman helped me sign up for an expensive subscription because the mobile phone deals were rubbish, only to then tell me I wouldn't get the rubbish. At the post office, you can get a Galaxy S25 for 60 CHF. Probably the most unfriendly company...
Hello, The woman on the phone when I needed help was very polite. Your team is very kind to customers. Thank you.
