We went to the Thun-YB derby at the Stockhorn Arena yesterday and got some fries. Unfortunately, they were completely cold and dried out. That was quite disappointing, especially at an event where you'd expect something fresh. In hindsight, we were glad we hadn't ordered two portions. What a shame.
The special atmosphere is palpable from the moment you arrive: cozy, welcoming, and designed with great attention to detail. The rooms are not only comfortable but also exude a charming alpine character – perfect for instantly putting you in a holiday mood.
Hüttenzauber was the caterer for Energy Air 2025 at the Stockhorn Arena. I opted for their fries, which were delicious and of excellent quality. Despite the large crowds, the staff were friendly and helpful, which made a positive first impression. Unfortunately, the organization significantly marred the experience: the wait was around 45 minutes, which is very long for a large event of this scale. Furthermore, the queueing system was confusing, leaving some people unsure whether they were even in the right line. While everything was cashless, which is generally convenient, this advantage couldn't compensate for the chaotic process. Especially at an event like Energy Air, better preparation and organization would have been crucial. Overall, the impression is mixed: good food and friendly staff, but considerable room for improvement in the organization.
Two weeks ago, I had the pleasure of working with the Hüttenzauber team as the organizer for the Swiss Epic in Davos and La Punt. Julia, Roslä, and Paolo were the friendliest, most competent, and, not least, incredibly hardworking colleagues imaginable! It was a joy to work with them, and the food was wonderful! They had to serve around 900 meals at lunchtime for race participants and crew, and another 150 or so in the evening for the crew alone. The feedback was excellent; everyone loved the food. I didn't hear a single negative comment. This is especially remarkable considering that these three exceptional individuals were on their feet for about 15 hours a day for a whole week to accomplish this! I only worked half the hours, and I can only bow down to their achievement! I hope Hüttenzauber will be booked for this event again next year, and I'm already looking forward to working with them again!
Good day According to online sources, you are the caterer at the Stockhorn Arena for FC Thun matches. It would be fantastic if you sought professional advice for the upcoming season so that the catering can finally operate at a Super League level. Currently, it's an organizational disaster and disastrous negative publicity for FC Thun and the stadium. The staff is friendly, and the food quality is okay. But the handling, the process from ordering to delivery, and the entire preparation for the influx of guests is a complete failure. Clearly, you have zero interest in maximizing sales and satisfying the fans. This is utterly incomprehensible.
There's room for improvement with the sausages at the Stockhorn Arena! Dear Kappeler Gastro AG: Now that FC Thun is (deservedly) back in the A-Class, the sausages sold at the Stockhorn Arena urgently need a quality upgrade. The veal sausage tastes good, but the casing used is a disaster! The same goes for the "Tuna Sausage." Both sausages have such thick and tough casings that one seriously wonders what the butcher who makes them is doing. The reviews speak for themselves (2.1!). If I were you, I'd take a very close look at your operations immediately.
