I was on a butcher's tour and stopped by Aeschlimann's. It's not your typical shop with a counter, but a proper butcher shop with processing all the meat on-site. Getting there by public transport is a bit of a hassle, and then it's a good ten to fifteen-minute uphill walk – but it's worth it. The sausages were fantastic. The pork sausage, veal sausage, and meatloaf were all top-notch in both taste and quality. Fresh, honest, and full of character. And I have to say, the prices are really fair for this quality. Anyone looking for genuine butcher craftsmanship and who enjoys trying new flavors should definitely check it out. It's a bit of a drive for me personally, but definitely worth a visit.
