I generally write positive reviews. BFI Bullion initially made a competent and customer-oriented impression. I also liked the concept, especially the provision for power outages or IT system failures. I also found the communication to be customer-oriented. However, I then became very frustrated with BFI, which is why I'm writing this review: We were in contact for weeks. Due to the geopolitical turmoil, BFI is very busy, so I understand that responses sometimes take a few days. After submitting photos, BFI confirmed that my valuables could be stored. After preparing all the documents and receipts for BFI, which took some time on my part, I filled out and signed the contract with all the required sensitive information. Then, unexpectedly, BFI announced their intention to double the minimum deposit. My objection that the increase hadn't yet been implemented, that we'd been in the business negotiation phase for some time, and that the delay was partly attributable to BFI, was dismissed. A second reason was given, a question I could clarify, but only directly upon storage, not beforehand. There are plenty of other providers. What bothers me is the time wasted and the way customers are treated. The doubling of the minimum storage value alone gives the impression that regulations are changed arbitrarily, leaving customers high and dry 99% of the way through the process.
