Quickest way across the lake. For daily usage a subscription makes sense. For people crossing the lake only 1-4 times a month I find the passes a great thing. Paying CHF500 worth CHF720 is equivalent to 44% discount! Crossing the lake 2-3 times a month, both ways, will last about a full year

i love this place. the departing and arriving ferries, the fountain rising from the lake's waters. the ever-present gulls, the little rivers flowing into the lake. the mountains. a whole necklace of mountains all around. i often come here in the evening and wait for the sunset. sometimes during the day – to see the sparkle of the sun on the rippling water.

I was able to board the ferry very quickly. Three ferries were in operation in the early afternoon, and two more would have been added if the thaw had occurred. The price is also reasonable compared to privately operated car ferries.
