We have just returned from an amazing stay in Meiring in MyChalet. Everything was perfect, from the amenities on site (can't do better than a sauna and jacuzzi after a day skiing!) to the location (everything in Meiringen can be done by foot) and the little extras (like the ski locker at the start of the gondola-no need to walk far with the heavy ski boots!) Iris and her husband made us feel very welcome, they were very easily reachable during our stay for any questions and recommendations and their home was a home away from home for us. The inside design is amazing, the rooms cosy and confortable and the small details like gourgeous cuttlery and tableware or the fully equipped laundry room made our stay even more perfect. We hope to return in summer to enjoy all the outdoor fun that the area has to offer as well! Thank you and see you soon!
An incredibly cosy accommodation, with all the modern conveniences, yet preserving the charm of a rustic chalet. A well thought design which included a spacious living room with a fireplace, a sauna, covered balcony and a large terrace with a bbq made us enjoy every day of the stay. The chalet is only 5-7 minutes walking distance from the Meiringen-Hasliberg cablecar, and a locker is available for the guests at Bidmi ski in/out cablecar station which avoids the hassle of taking the equipment to the slopes and back every day. City center with its restaurants, shops, skating rink, swimming pool, tennis courts and block climbing center is also only 5 minutes walking distance away. Interlaken is some 30 minutes drive by car (where there are even more facilities available - such as an indoor trampoline and a skate park), and the train stop is in proximity to the chalet too. Several sledge slopes are available at the ski resort, there are days every week with night skiing too. In summer, the location offers numerous hiking trails with iconic views, as well as many cycling routes, from easy valley rides to the challenging mountain paths. The Owners of the chalet were very welcoming, helpful and caring, easily reachable for assistance if required (thank you so much!). A large selection of bread and pastry was available from the local bakery on request. We will definitely come back!
A place to feel good and relax As a family, we spent a week of our winter vacation in this beautiful chalet and felt right at home from the very first moment. The chalet is designed with such attention to detail, and you can see it in every single room. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need. We especially appreciated the high quality of everything provided. The appliances are state-of-the-art and top-of-the-line. In some previous vacation rentals, we'd encountered mismatched dishes – here, however, everything was perfectly coordinated, modern, and very stylish. The bedrooms are spacious, and both have en-suite bathrooms. The beds are very comfortable, so we slept wonderfully. In addition to the soft towels, we were also provided with cozy bathrobes for everyone. The sauna, the whirlpool, and the fireplace made our stay even more special. Relaxing in the sauna after skiing was a real highlight. We also thoroughly enjoyed the warm whirlpool. It was checked daily by the hosts and was always spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The fireplace made the evenings especially cozy. Our hosts also made our stay unforgettable. Iris and Thomas were always available, helpful, and welcoming, and contributed significantly to our having a wonderful week in Meiringen.
A beautiful chalet with charm and a stunning view of the Reichenbach Falls. The chalet is very modernly furnished, and the kitchen is equipped with everything you could need. We especially appreciated the electric vehicle charging station. We thoroughly enjoyed the sunny terrace, the whirlpool, and the sauna. It was simply wonderful! The location is peaceful, and Meiringen is a great base for many activities in the region. There are various opportunities for hiking, biking, and numerous excursions for families. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Thank you so much; we spent wonderful days at "my Chalet."
We had a very pleasant family vacation in this superbly equipped apartment. The furnishings are modern, high-quality, and combine alpine charm with comfort. The luxurious and extensive amenities, which go far beyond the norm, are particularly noteworthy. We lacked nothing. The Ackermann family, our hosts, were extremely friendly and accommodating. A nice touch was the bread delivery service, which ensured a convenient start to the day. The private sauna offered a welcome opportunity to relax after a day in the mountains—simply wonderful! The accommodation is especially convenient for skiers: just a few minutes' walk to the gondola's valley station, a private ski locker for free use in the ski area, and a parking space right outside the door all contribute to the high level of comfort. If you're looking for a lovingly furnished vacation apartment, this is the perfect place! We wholeheartedly recommend this apartment and will definitely return.
Tastefully and comfortably furnished apartment. The amenities far exceed standard. We (a family of five) felt very comfortable from the very first moment. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and helpful. In short: top-notch! Thank you very much.
