The Clinic is by far without equal in Switzerland. Wether it be the Administrative employees, Doctors or the Staff on station, i was treated beyond well by any and everybody there with extremely few exceptions. For every "not so pleasant" encounter with any employee or staff, you'll have at least nine outstandingly positive ones to make up for that. The beautiful location, coupled with the unbelievably wide selection of therapies, groups, and activities will leave you wanting for little to nothing. Be plain and direct, open and transparent with your treating doctors and station personnel, and they will be direct, open and transparent with you in turn. The Food is also unrivaled in it's quality and variety. I've never before eaten as well as i did here, both for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. While there are things that could be (and should be) adressed and improved, i can nevertheless wholeheartedly recommend the Privatklinik Meiringen for anyone in need of help or support during difficult times. A very big thank you to the entire team of Nurses and Doctors on the station "West 2"

Before planning a stay at this clinic, you should read this article carefully!!! I was assigned to the Meiringen Clinic due to my illness and spent several weeks there. I couldn't sleep a wink the first night because my roommate snored like a machine. I got up in the middle of the night and told the night shift. Their only response was that I should go to the sofa in the common room and that there was no other option! The following weeks were just as awful! Most of the nurses on the ward sat in front of their screens practically all day and didn't care about the patients' well-being. Furthermore, you constantly have to justify yourself to the doctors. It's like a meeting of about six doctors against one patient. If you don't fight for your well-being, you'll be dismissed and ostracized! I also regularly attended the art studio. I love my daughter more than anything and missed her terribly at that time. Once, when a temporary worker was painting, she approached me and told me in front of everyone that I was the guy who hated his daughter and wanted to hurt her. This clinic is incompetent and only interested in processing patients in large numbers. Please stay away from it and seek competent help elsewhere!

A truly fantastic facility – very well-maintained, clearly structured, and accompanied by warm, attentive support. I felt completely at ease and would love to come back!

I find the clinic very good, even with children, they are attentive to your needs and do everything right away, the therapies are good and you can learn a lot, so 5 stars for Meiringen

Private Clinic Meringen for Young Adults and Child Protection (PZJE) I would like to share our experience with the Private Clinic Meringen in Thun. Our son arrived at the clinic in good health to have his medication adjusted under the supervision of specialists. Together with my partner, we reduced his medication with the support of the psychiatrist, which yielded positive results. Unfortunately, our son was admitted to the clinic on January 27th, and by January 30th, we had received a call informing us that he was being transferred to Inselspital (University Hospital of Bern), but that it was nothing serious. However, it turned out that our son was in critical condition: he had an open fracture of his leg, three fractures of the spine, a pelvic injury, and a damaged liver from an accident. On the day of the incident, he had an elevated medication level and jumped from a window of the psychiatric clinic from a height of four meters. This could have ended tragically. The clinic took a long time to issue an apology, and our son will have to deal with the health consequences and future surgeries for the rest of his life. I feel immense disappointment and regret that I left my son in this clinic. I wish other clinics had refused to admit him, as he is autistic and has difficulty coping with changes in his environment. This experience has left a lasting mark on our lives.
