Nice place to stop over for a beautiful view of the lake and a small walk. Parking space are quite limited.
Site of the historical battle of Moorgarten in 1315 between the confederates and the Hapsburgs. The latter where ambushed by the confederates luring in the hills and woods above lake Ägeri. The monument itself is quite humble. If you pass by, you can stop here but it‘s not a must.
Small memorial.. good panoremic view of the lake and mountain
The monument is a memorial to the historical Battle of Morgarten, 1315. Awesome to visit and see the lake from that view point.
Nice and quiet, parking available
The audio in the column is well done. The story is also good, whether it ever happened that way, who knows, but that's another story. The view from the monument is beautiful over Lake Aegeri and the surrounding hills.
