Went into this cafe when visiting Murren and loved it! Super cozy cafe with delicious food and great view. I liked their cakes and breads, as well as their drinks. They were soft, but not too sweet. Definitely visit this cafe!
This place feels like it stepped out of one of those dreamy YouTube café chill vibe music videos—the kind where everything looks almost too perfect to be real. The pastries are genuinely delicious, the drinks are crafted like art, and everything we tried was exceptional. The atmosphere is warm, relaxed, and effortlessly stylish, making it one of the highlights of our time in Switzerland.
Cafe LIV is a very nice place to drink a good coffee and have a (vegan) sandwich or a vegan cake. I had the coconut cake and it was super delicious and fluffy. The ambiance is great and the staff is super friendly. I also had the banana chocolate cake wich was also very good. This is a must stop when you are in Murren! 😋
I absolutely adored this place! Bruno and Nessi are so sweet and bring a smile to your face. This is a must visit shop. The coconut vegan cake and the mint tea is life altering. Must try once in your life.

And don’t forget the coffee—it’s truly amazing, strong and rich, just the way you need it when you’re up in the mountains. The host, a lovely couple, makes the experience even more memorable with their friendly and welcoming service. It’s clear they put a lot of love into what they do. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering the stunning location. This is one of those places that feels so authentic and personal, and supporting them is a wonderful way to give back to people who are running the cafe from their home. Highly recommend stopping by for a heartwarming break in the snow! Cafe Liv is definitely a must-visit spot!
I had a very good matcha latte here which tastes real matcha and not too milky but still creamy. The chocolate cake melts in your mouth and not too sweet. The service was also very friendly.
