This may easily be the most scenic restaurant you will ever eat at. The food was fantastic, the beef broth soup was really good as was the bolognese. Despite other reviews of terrible service, ours was amazing and kind. I would risk it if you are on the fence.
Unimaginably good views and the pizza was just as good. The four cheese was incredible and they do not skimp on toppings. Great size pizza for someone who eats a lot (I ate a whole 1-1/2 myself). Great atmosphere and you can’t beat the views. Apple strudel was also great!
I don’t understand the negative reviews at this place… We thought it was great! I had the curry lentil dish and my husband had one of the hash brown dishes. Our wine and beer were both delicious, and the service was excellent. Very friendly staff! Review from an American (from Louisiana), for what that’s worth.
I had the Swiss Pork Steak, with I would refer to as pork schnitzel. It was a lightly coated piece of pork, with noodles and vegetables. My wide had a large mixed salad, and a bowl of Hungarian Goulash, which was more of a meat-based soup. We both enjoyed the meals. For dessert, we split a piece of apple strudel on vanilla cream sauce that looked better than it tasted. Service was professional, but not particularly friendly. Two qualifiers to this restauant: 1. The view from outside would be a 85 on a scale of 1 to 5. It's just not possible to have better view of the mountains. 2. We were charged 5 Francs (almost $6.00 for TAP water (NOT) bottled water. I don't remember seeing this on the menu, and the waitress just shrugged when I questioned it. Keep in mind, this is a town that has flowing water spigot of water from the mountains. Restaurants need to stop having needless charges that tend to ruin the experience.
Swiss food presented in a gorgeous alpine setting. The service we received was very friendly. The dishes we had were good quality at a fair price relative to the area. We are planning to return again tomorrow to try the steak.
Breathtaking views alone make it worth the price and time. Staff is very friendly and pleasant. Food is average at best but overall experience was great
