Ypsomed's backup service is a disgrace. It's nearly impossible to get through to them, and when you do, they offer little more than reciting information from the handbook. Information We're already aware of. We spent the first two weeks dealing with failed canulas and a failed sensor, and their solution was a dismissive "go to your pharmacy." This, during an extremely stressful time for us forces us to waste time and energy trying to acquire additional equipment beyond our monthly prescription, and we're still waiting for a replacement sensor. If you're considering a Ypsomed pump, especially in Ireland, I strongly advise against it. Their support is utterly worthless. Dealing with Type 1 diabetes is stressful enough without the added burden of a company that clearly doesn't care. While we've received excellent support from healthcare professionals and Dexcom, Ypsomed's service is a stark contrast
Nice product
Great team!
Products are okay, but defective. The fact that they aren't working on a solution to the "battery cover" problem and simply require customers to buy new ones at their own expense is outrageous. Customer service - abysmal! I'm still waiting for a response to an email I sent in November. Invoices arrive without a QR code or IBAN. I can't send messages to the contact person's email address. Inquiries are only possible by mail. Welcome to 2026
Thank you so much, dear pump manufacturer, for no longer using pre-filled ampoules! 👍👍👍 This creates a mountain of waste and saves 30 minutes of work. Mylife pump customers will be eternally grateful. 👍👍👍 …
I've been using the YpsoPump since October. Since then, my sensor no longer works for the usual 10 days, but starts losing signal on day 7, and this can last for hours. I've now run out of sensors before the intended lifespan. Ypsomed doesn't feel responsible. I've been reporting this problem since November, and nothing has really happened. How can you release a product with such flaws? How can you abandon someone whose life depends on insulin and its supply like this?
