On Thursday, October 5, 2023, we enjoyed a very interesting and exciting guided tour of the "Grimsel Underworld" with Werner Thöni, which we highly recommend. Electricity doesn't simply come from the wall socket. It's impressive what KWO contributes to electricity security in Switzerland and Europe. It also makes you realize the courageous pioneering work that was done four generations ago. If we benefit from this today with the increasing demand for electricity, we must also be prepared to make compromises regarding landscape protection.
Since emails are going unanswered, this comment is probably pointless. The current issue is about booking tours for the Grimsel Underworlds. For example, the tours are at 10:00, 13:30, or 14:00. But—and this surprises me—they don't connect with public transportation like the Gelmerbahn funicular! Therefore, we unfortunately can't book this tour. Waiting more than two hours is simply too much, especially with children.
