December 23, 2025 Appointment 8:00 a.m. After my partner informed me that I was slightly late, the electrician simply decided to enter the apartment?! As I walked towards the building, I saw a man shouting something to me. I asked, "Excuse me, what?" He said, "Is this Mrs. Schildknecht?" I confirmed, and he said, "I went in, the door was open?!" What?! I arrived at 8:15 a.m. If he were late, I would have waited instead of just driving off, wouldn't I? Why would someone try to sneak into someone else's apartment? And then actually do it? I'm shocked! He had no right to be there! A complete breach of trust towards the customer.
Patrick did an excellent job installing two chandeliers. He was able to accommodate our scheduling needs and left everything in perfect condition. We will definitely use his services again!
I had inquired about installing a socket for my electric car charger. After the initial visit, I was satisfied, but then became bitterly disappointed. I was informed that a remote disconnection device would be necessary so that the electricity provider (EKZ) could shut off the connection in an emergency. This seemed reasonable enough. Then I spoke with my neighbor about the fuses. He told me that EKZ had installed his wallbox a few years ago, and there had been no mention of a remote disconnection device. I then asked if this remote disconnection device was really necessary and if there was a new regulation from EKZ. After that, there was radio silence. After a week, I inquired whether they were no longer interested in the job. In a two-line reply, I was informed that the installer would contact me. No apology for the lack of communication/response. I replied that I was unavailable by phone that day and that they could call me the morning after next. Shortly afterward, I received another two-line reply: "We have to install according to EKZ regulations. We are declining this job." So, I'm being directly accused of wanting to have an illegal installation done. But all I did was ask if there was a new regulation. The management's communication is absolutely appalling. On top of that, my partner has been a customer of Elektro Romann for this property for a long time. We will definitely be changing electricians; this kind of behavior is simply unacceptable! The second star is only for the initially good advice.

Our heating broke down. I called this evening at 7:30 p.m. Mr. Romann was here 20 minutes later. Another 10 minutes later, the problem was solved. He'll contact EKZ tomorrow to see if there's anything wrong with the power supply. Absolutely top-notch service. If I have an electrical problem, only Romann Elektro.
Contrary to what you often hear about tradesmen—expensive and unreliable—I received an appointment for the next day after my call. The technician from Elektro Romann arrived on time and worked efficiently. He deducted a point because he couldn't locate the source of the short circuit.
