Brouwer was hired at short notice for minor work on a property. The work was carried out quickly, efficiently, and to the required standard. However, the surprise came with the invoice. For the first time, the invoice was incorrectly addressed (to the planner instead of the client) and included parking tickets (without any proof that parking tickets were actually issued – and even if they were, that's hardly the client's problem). The requested correction was implemented, but the amount for the parking tickets was distributed among other line items! This necessitated another correction. The final invoice was not re-dated, and no discount option was offered. The work itself was well done, but it's appalling that they then tried to squeeze out a few extra francs during the billing process. Unbelievable business practices – completely unprofessional. EDIT / After response: The invoice was issued at the end of July and paid at the beginning of October. The assumption of parking tickets was never agreed upon with the client.
