I just had the pleasure of having a sales representative at my door for the second time. Of course, she wasn't trying to sell me anything. That was the first thing she mentioned, anyway. Which is true, actually. The product is only sold during a "consultation." This way, the customer has no right of withdrawal, since it's not a door-to-door sale. They also try to pressure you into buying by only offering a discount on the already overpriced system if you sign immediately. The projected savings of around €400 on the annual electricity bill might be possible with a year-round summer. Completely unrealistic, of course. I'd also like to know if the promised after-sales support, which apparently partially justifies the high cost, would still be guaranteed if I had bought such a system last year. The company was recently acquired. When I said that if I ever wanted such a system, I would buy it at a hardware store like Landi or Hornbach for a fraction of the cost, I was just laughed at and wished good luck with the self-installation. ... I'm not saying these systems don't work. However, they're sold at exorbitant prices, and the calculated savings on electricity bills are unrealistic! Everyone has to decide for themselves if they can afford it. I can't...
