A complete store and competent personnel willing to help. It’s quite busy sometimes but, with a little bit of patience, you’ll get what you are looking for. You can find anything from bicycles, bike clothing, a broad selection of panniers, bike parts and tools as well as camping equipment suitable for bike touring.

Veloplus has the most spare parts of the bike shops I know in Bern. I think prices are a bit higher than some other place, but service is exceptional and you can even mount the part you bought here immediately in their customer-workshop!

Went there to look at new bikes and get some consulting on what best to choose. The person I talked to could hardly be bothered. He was vague on the specs, and when he did not know something the standard answer was that he could look it up, but never did. I would have been better off just doing my own online research and ordering online.

Terrible service 👎 Went there for a quick adjustment. The employees don't say hello, avoid eye contact, let me stand there. Not speaking english is not an excuse, "hallo" seems too hard for them. I'll do the full service somewhere else 👋
