Very friendly and attentive staff. Small team. Excellent dishes. They have a very small choice on the menu (usually three menus) but everything is freshly cooked and served. Regional suppliers and herbs from the local garden. The only drawback: you usually have to reserve months in advance!
Ostermundigen is not a destination (trust me, I live there), but d'Schmitte is a destination unto itself! I've rarely felt so personally attended to by the couple who runs this six-table restaurant. Amazing experience. Everything proved to be above expectation and price quality ratio is perfect. This is a high level place. Very surprised, staff very friendly with lots of knowledge. Dont miss it.
Wonderful small restaurant with very authentic and locally sourced food. Only about 15 places, so reserve in time. It is well worth it.
