If anyone reading this is thinking of buying from Alpha: If the online reviews and customer experiences aren't enough, absolutely ask for references and inspect recently built structures before signing anything! That will make it clear that you shouldn't work with these people.
Unfortunately, the criticism expressed above doesn't surprise us in the slightest. From our own experience, we know that delays and a build-up of defects due to poor planning are the rule rather than the exception in projects by Alpha and its subsidiaries Zadik and QT. Anyone familiar with the industry knows that "You don't build with Zadik."
The property on Weinbergstrasse in Aarau is for sale. The penthouse apartment was initially listed for 2 million Swiss francs, and after several email exchanges, the price was reduced to 1.8 million. However, it was immediately reserved and declared sold, just like all the other apartments. This week, after six months, the apartments are suddenly back on the market at the original, inflated price. My numerous questions about why they're back, why the price has increased, and why the budgets have been drastically reduced (by more than 25%!) remain unanswered. Instead, I'm being asked to reserve the apartment or not to contact them again. Beware, this is highly unprofessional, and if they refuse to answer such simple questions, regardless of the inflated price, then this is far from professional, transparent, and fair marketing. Several other projects have documented, recurring construction defects. Beware. Never.
