On February 1, 2025, we celebrated a wonderful welcoming party for our daughter in a church in Bern with 22 people. We commissioned Michael to plan and lead the ceremony. Even during the planning phase, we were deeply touched by his excitement and his ideas and inspiration for the celebration. We felt noticed, heard, and constantly filled with anticipation. The planning process was very festive, professional, and uncomplicated. On the big day itself, Michael was on time with all the materials and embodied a calmness that allowed the celebration to flourish. His words are deeply touching, and he has a great talent for turning a day into a special, very personal celebration. We are eternally grateful and recommend him 300% for both weddings and non-denominational baptisms. You are in good hands with him.
My wife and I would like to give something back to Michael for everything we received from him. That's why we decided to tell you about our experience with Michael. We were immediately charmed by his friendliness during our first phone call. Our first meeting was on a cozy afternoon on our terrace, where we met Michael. We told him our story and discussed our wish for a bilingual ceremony in Bernese German and French. This was no problem for him at all. Our ceremony took place at a chapel in the woods, and of course, it started to rain just before it began. But even that didn't stop Michael! He incorporated the weather into his plans and created a breathtaking atmosphere at our wedding. The two of us and all our loved ones were thrilled. There wasn't a dry eye in the house! It wasn't the rain that was to blame, but rather the sensitive, warm, and easy way Michael told our story, from how we met to saying "I do." ... Michael Bucher made our big day truly special. He's a fantastic speaker and entertainer. He listened to our wishes and spoke about us so personally, as if he'd known us for years. Four months later, our guests are still talking about this "fantastic wedding officiant."
Michael led a beautiful and varied welcome ceremony. We held it outdoors near Salem Hospital, overlooking the old town. With the sound of a singing bowl, Michael invited the guests to the ceremony area. Researching the events that led to Mavie's birth was a lot of fun and a great way to start. The main part of the ceremony was also beautifully designed, and Michael catered to our needs and included all the children (aged 2 to 5) wonderfully. I hadn't expected Mavie's brother to be so involved in the whole ceremony! The final part, when Mavie was swung in a sling, was perfect. The other children also enjoyed this and were all allowed to have a go afterward. Afterward, Michael toasted with us and helped us gather our wishes for Mavie. Everyone involved was thrilled and will fondly remember Mavie's welcome ceremony. Even my grandmother said, "That was even more beautiful than in church! 😊"
