GEZE Switzerland is a disaster. They promise a lot, especially when you're about to look for another supplier, but then they don't keep their promises. What GEZE Switzerland is very good at is charming and wrapping customers around their little finger. But they don't deliver, except for empty promises.
Today, the automatic door was probably set up and adjusted the way it should have been set up when it was installed ten years ago. The door has never reacted quickly enough to customers approaching it from the outside, so some people thought the store was closed and left. Meanwhile, GEZE technicians have been called out repeatedly, who have fixed whatever they suspected was the cause – one time it was a dusty sensor, another time something else. Of course, these visits and repairs of suspected defects always cost a few hundred francs, often closer to a thousand. In addition, and again today: I made an appointment so I could explain the problem and my requirements to the technician. However, the technician then arrived a few hours early. This has happened countless times. The technicians are friendly, though, as are the hotline staff, when you can actually get hold of them. According to the technician, the hardware is also of good quality. But that's no use if the expensive specialists don't know enough about it. GEZE is to me the same as Cablecom was a few years ago: Once and never again, for the rest of my life.
