The quote stated that 15 hours with 3 men would be needed for the installation, plus 3 hours for the crane. However, during the conversation, it was mentioned that we would see on-site how quickly the work could be completed. The two (not three) employees worked for 10 hours, not 15. The crane was reported as being used for 1.5 hours instead of 3. This would have meant a price reduction of over €500. The boss, however, refused to discuss the matter and insisted that everything was correct. We are disappointed with how things were handled and would not use this company again. Instead of making the customer happy, billing correctly for the hours worked, and potentially securing further business, they prioritize making a quick buck. The counterarguments were just excuses. Perhaps this post will be answered with the same excuses. But rest assured, they are just excuses. Had I requested other quotes, I certainly would have gotten a better deal. And I'm not talking about 500 CHF here, but easily a four-figure sum. We paid the unjustified bill immediately. But we believe other potential customers should be warned. Please put everything in writing! To charge four times for the trip from Richterswil to Horgen in one day, and that with two employees, is outrageous! If the work had been carried out with three employees as agreed, only one trip would have been necessary. And as I said, we should have been credited 360 CHF just for the crane report (240 CHF/hour). Well... you have to be careful these days!
