Really beautiful hike and perfect for all abilities with such breathtaking views of lakes , mountains , cows and beautiful rare alpine flowers depending on the season. Would definitely recommend this hike to anyone that has a spare day while visiting Switzerland or for anyone living in Switzerland and wants an enjoyable hike in nature.
It's one of the easiest and most beautiful Swiss landscapes to reach. The hike is generally flat. You can take the cable car up to Kaltbad station and take a nice walk.
The hike wasn't so long. It's a loop and it goes back, otherwise you could continue on.
Very nice hike with a spectacular panorama of the Luzern lake. You can take the cute mountain train to Rigi Kulm from Vitznau, and by starting the hike on the top you just have to descend to one of the multiple cable car stations by the path (or straight to the lake, if you have strong knees). The only slightly negative thing worth noting is that the trail is a wide gravel road, meaning it won't be your usual hiking crowds but more people in flip-flops and et cetera, amounting to quite some crowds during weekends.

Fantastic views. As well as benches to sit and enjoy the view. These came in handy - providing shade on a hot day!
