We had a fantastic meal here! It was recommended by our Airbnb hosts. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were served some bread before our meal arrived. We had salad buffet to start, fresh and tasty We had schnitzels and also spaetzle. There was a vegetarian option. There was a lovely cosy atmosphere inside with great decor and candles. We shared some desserts to finish. They have small desserts in a glasses if you don’t want a big dessert. Meal for 3 people cost 200CHF (3 courses : salad each, main meal each, 2 desserts) plus drinks to start and drinks with meal. Generous portions. We couldn’t eat everything so they boxed up our leftovers for us to take home. Parking available outside. We went out a Thursday evening in September and walked in, did not need to make a reservation. Highly recommend.

The Traube provided not only an excellent menu, but offered a very homey and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and competent. We were treated almost like family.
