I must strongly advise against doing business with Helvetia Insurance. This company's practices are extremely customer-unfriendly and opaque. When I cashed in a tied pension plan, including a life insurance policy, the surrender value was so low that I only received 70% of the premiums paid in. Furthermore, the surrender value wasn't communicated immediately upon cancellation. The fact that they push extremely long-term Pillar 3a life insurance policies on young people is inherently unethical, but it's very lucrative for the insurance company when the policy is cashed in. A great business opportunity.
