Wedding in September 2024 Our wedding at the rowing club's boathouse was an unforgettable experience, and we were fortunate enough to celebrate in an absolutely stunning location. The view of the water was simply breathtaking and lent the celebration a special atmosphere. From the very beginning, we felt completely at ease. Thanks to Ms. Brun, we had several opportunities to visit the venue to finalize the decorations. She patiently showed us everything, and our many questions and minor concerns were always addressed with kindness. Even when we were nervous about the possibility of too many people arriving, we were reassured – and rightly so! Everything that had been promised to us was delivered. We would like to thank Ms. Brun again most sincerely for that! The few club members who were nearby were very friendly. They completely respected our celebration and did not disrupt the atmosphere or the proceedings in any way. We highly recommend the rowing club's boathouse as a wedding venue. I was at a wedding at the rowing club yesterday. Unfortunately, the dishes were dirty, and you could even see lipstick marks on some of the glasses. The dishwasher's filter was also dirty. Then, during the aperitif, a woman was sunbathing in a bikini on a deck chair—an absolutely disrespectful no-go! It's fine that the facility can be used for rowing and training, but using it for recreational sunbathing while it's rented out for a wedding party is completely disrespectful. I was outraged by what I saw! Renting something out in such a state, under such rules, or with such disrespectful club members is simply unacceptable! It's a shame that such a beautiful location and venue is rented out under these conditions; it seems to be all about the money... In conclusion: The location and venue are very beautiful. However, renting out the venue under unacceptable conditions is unacceptable.
A good, reputable club. It supports young girls and boys. It's social for the young at heart. It offers a lot for recreational sports.
