If you are an expat my advice is you better run away from this company. They do not facilitate the communication at all, take ages to respond to emails (or they directly don't respond) and it was always impossible for me to have someone to help me in english, even though I let them know since I first applied that I don't speak good german. It was the worst service and treatment I have ever experimented from an insurance company in my entire life, after living in a different swiss kanton, UK, Australia and Spain.

Unfortunately, after many years I had to switch health insurance providers because premiums had to be significantly increased. However, my experience with KKSt was always excellent. Claims processing was quick and straightforward. The best part, though, was the personal contact: questions were answered competently and clearly. I never felt like I wasn't being taken seriously, even if the question seemed trivial. I would like to express my sincere gratitude for that.

Our experience with this health insurance provider was outstanding. All claims for the entire family were processed quickly, completely, and correctly. We hardly needed to contact them at all throughout the year. Our administrative burden was significantly lower than with any of our previous insurers. Hats off! Some of the larger providers could learn a thing or two from them! Unfortunately, premiums in our region rose sharply for 2026, which is why we had to switch providers despite our exceptionally positive experience.

I contacted them via email regarding a matter. The very next day I received a message that everything had been processed and was on its way to me. The whole thing was handled very politely. I'm not used to that kind of service from health insurance companies. Thank you.
