We were referred to Knecht by the real estate agent who sold us our home. Her home had been built by Knecht and was very satisfied. We were new to home renovations in Switzerland but were told to get st least 3 offers. It came down to Knecht and another company. We decided on Knecht not because of pricing but because of detail. They fully understood our project and presented a point by point plan. In the first day of construction all participants arrived on time to either begin working or receiving their plan as to when they would begin. The plans were broken down with weeks and days certain projects needed to be completed. The schedule would have been met but I ordered a kitchen from Plana in Singen (I wrote a review of them too) and Plana failed to deliver the kitchen according to our contract. This caused our only delay! Knecht did a lot of work we removed walls, support beams and fireplaces as well as the entire bathroom. Never did we ever feel mislead cheated or ignored. Every single wish we had they turned into a reality. We are totally satisfied customers we still can’t believe we live in this dream house!!! I live in a house built by Knecht AG. According to the construction representative, the planning went smoothly. Unfortunately, the quality in several areas is not as expected. The quality of the wood used falls far short of the visual standards, and the workmanship has defects in various places. Regrettably, the wood's origin is also far from regional, contrary to expectations.
