People always ask me, what types of dishes would you include in your death row meal? And let me tell you, the “Poulet im Chörbli” or translated “Chicken in a basket” they serve here would probably be one of them! Growing up, my family and I have made countless of memories at this restaurant! Whether it was celebrating birthdays, family gatherings or simply a good dinner, this would always be a place that we have enclosed in our hearts for generations! The chicken is exactly what you would expect out of french rotisserie: Crispy, tender and juicy. But if it wasn’t for the sauce that I always come back here then I don’t know. It’s a family kept secret and it’s so finger licking good, I would not even mind drinking it. However, I do find it a bit of a shame that the sauce they serve you in the basket has decreased gradually over the last couple of years and decades. I remember when the chicken would almost swim in the sauce and now you’re almost obligated to order a supplement of sauce. In my case I even order two at a time so I have some sauce for the fries to dip in as well. Also the atmosphere is not the greatest, it’s definitely very noisy and can sometimes be a bit hard to communicate w each other. But despite all of this, I keep coming back as it’s more than just a meal - it’s a trip down a memory lane, filled with love and laughter. And besides, you will likely not find this type of restaurant anywhere else in the world. So definitely give this a try if you can!

Different type of Chicken with sauce. You can’t find how they make that sause. That’s why this restaurant is famous. If you want to go this restaurant you must reserve. Its better cos sometimes you must waiting. Otherwise you can enjoy 😉

Super... One best fried chicken 🐓 if ever tried. You can choose between 3 different of spicy sauces. With french fries 🍟 and a salad 🥗. Moderate prices friendly personal. Thursday to Sunday you do have to make a reservation 🗓️ Adam

Was without a doubt the best piece of chicken i’ve ever and probably will ever eat!!! Incredibly flavoursome, with a perfectly crisp skin and soft, tender meat. Not to mention the sauce which was to die for. Fantastic service and will definitely be coming back when i’m next in Switzerland!!!

Great atmosphere and friendly stuff. Me and my family always come here to eat since I was a kid. The chicken tastes so nice and never fails to meet expectations. Is a must try if you are in the area or even decide to leave the nearest city. I always get 2 chickens haha. Also the salad is so fresh and tasty.
