Marktstand - Top of Zurich, Uetliberg — 8143 Stallikon, Switzerland

Certainly a great destination restaurant with excellent views stretching out all the way to the Swiss alps and high above Zurich. Somewhere limited menu but the lunch was quite good although quite expensive. My wife rates the steak tartar rates 6 out of 10 due to it having excessive liquid additives and mushy. I had the sliced veal which was quite delicious although simply presented. My cousin had the roasted pumpkin which he said was very good and was also aesthetically plated.

The restaurant doesn't work for regular tourists, which is really sad. I took American style hotdog, sausage was good, pommes frites was okay. And also we tool apple pie which was tasty. A lot of choice to eat with medium price and nice view 😍

Worst service ever. Literally had to argue with an employee to get the food I paid for. He refused to give me my order or even look at the receipt in my hand where the order was clearly stated. Took almost 10 minutes of discussion to get french fries for my children.

I have been to Switzerland before but not to this resturant. But my 3rd great grandfather came here in the 1900s and the photo he took here looks amazing. He is playing the Bugle.

Friends and I had a lunch on the terrace. Just horrible, how can you get thing as simple as schnitzel so wrong. Avoid at any cost. I just hope the restaurant is better, not sure will dare to try though.

Reception was unpleasant, staff were little impolite and not well-organized, Bündner Gerstensuppe with Brown bread and Zurcher Geschnetzeltes were amazing, well made mushrooms, so tasty, lekker food, congrats to the chef, place provides a great view, really touristic area due the mountains.
