magical winter wonderland with exceptional hospitality! ❄️ The staff was incredibly welcoming and genuinely helpful throughout our visit. We arrived during winter when the mountain was beautifully blanketed in snow—a truly picturesque setting that made the experience even more special. 🏔️ The food offerings were delicious and authentic. We enjoyed a warming Gerstensuppe (barley soup), savory Cervelat, and fresh Bretzel 🥨—perfect comfort foods for a cold day. During winter, the mountain comes alive with several charming food stands offering Crêpes, Raclette, and hot Coffee, creating a cosy alpine atmosphere that’s hard to resist. Whether you’re seeking mountain views, traditional Swiss cuisine, or simply a memorable winter experience, this place delivers on all fronts. Highly recommended 😊👍🏼

Beautiful restaurant as you can see on my pictures. The food was amazing, excellent service and could not recommend more. Spectacular views of Zurich too. The ambience was something else. Will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful New Year's Eve party at Uto Kulm. Walking through the snow from the train station to the hotel, with the festive decorations outside, was magical. The food was simply delicious! We started with smoked duck breast with orange, fennel and figs, followed by coconut lemongrass soup with pineapple. For the main course, we had oven-roasted beef fillet with porcini jus, roasted root vegetables and poppy seed polenta. For dessert, we enjoyed a "chestnut variation with chocolate and ginger". Watching the Zurich fireworks from the rooftops of the city was enchanting. Dancing with the live band until 3am was enjoyable and fun.

Amazing views from the outdoor seating area. Dinner was nice as well. We did the chicken and risotto and the desert was simple but good. Nice beer and wine selection. Friendly staff. Highly recommend for the views and the atmosphere. Note that you need to take public transportation up and then walk about 8 minutes to the restaurant.

One of the worst breakfast experiences ever. I took my guest to UTO KULM for a breakfast with a view. They said breakfast is served between 7 am and 11 am. We arrived at 9 am. There was a cleaning staff member washing the windows with pressured water and a loud machine. We wanted to sit somewhere with a view, so we preferred to sit outside. The lady there told us we could sit at the very back so it would be better during the cleaning. I asked if we could go upstairs to the terrace restaurant, and the answer was no, which is okay. However, their website also indicates that breakfast there is served between 7 am and 11 am. We then sat outside at the very back, but unfortunately the high-pressure water used for cleaning the windows disturbed us and even splashed a bit onto our breakfasts. It was not the worker’s fault for doing his job, but why were we not informed about maintenance, even though we had a reservation and had called beforehand? We then asked if we could move further, and the lady told us we would need to go to the kiosk because it is their area, and that we could go there if the buffet was expensive (which I found a bit weird) I was extremely embarrassed because I had taken my guest there for a nice experience. After 10:30 am, everything was fine. But we had already finished our breakfast. Additionally, when you go there in the morning, going back to town immediately is not really possible. Waking up earlier and making the trip there was unfortunately not worth it in the end.

Service was really fantastic and outstanding. Wine was delicious and the view spectacular. We ate there for work and it was fantastic! Will be back!
