What a lovely vibe. We ate as a group of 5 at the Berg Stube which is right next to the platform where the train to uetliberg drops you off. We were pleasantly surprised with how calm and family focused this restaurant was. We went for the Tavolata so we got a whole bunch of dishes to try as a group. The restaurant also has a kids menu. We got all the cosy vibes we wanted & delicious food. Great service! Yummy food.

We arrived at the restaurant having hiked to the top of Uetliberg to see the sunrise, so they hadn't yet opened but welcomed us and made us some delicious coffee. Thank you for being flexible and welcoming us!
After a long hike up the mountain, we found the restaurant to be a perfect place to relax and enjoy an excellent meal. The view was fantastic, and the service was excellent.
Such a beautiful setting and place. The food was delicious and we had great service. My English visitors loved it and we would definitely go back .
Went there for Christmas with a cheese fondue reservation at 3pm. Came and saw a leaflet saying they close at 4:30. We asked as it’s not enough time for cheese fondue. They said we can stay but kitchen closes. Waiter came to remove food 4:35 and asked us (nicely) to immediately to pay the bill - no problem. 1’ after the (big) bill was settled one of the owners (Dirk Luttmann) came - telling us we must to leave RIGHT NOW because he wants his break - while our son was unpacking his Christmas present from his grand parents. We were set in front of the door (below 0 temp.) so the child could finish his unpacking. NEVER AGAIN - real life Grinch here.
