Touristeninformation und Souvenirshop

Soooo many negative reviews!! I don't get it. We visited as a family in the middle of the afternoon on a Friday and, yes, it was busy, and there were a lot of tourists, but with a bit of patience, the entry fee was exceptional value for such an incredible experience getting so close to the falls. At the visitor centre, the ticket sellers were friendly and spoke English, the toilets were in good shape considering the amount of use on a busy day and there's even a small playground for the kids. As for the viewing platform route, you can either walk down some steps soaking up various viewpoints of the falls on the way down, or take the glass elevator. If you have a buggy, you need to leave it at the top, which wasn't an issue for us. I'd highly recommend the experience. Worth every cent!
The souvenirs sold here are not the actual one. Please make sure what you see on the display outside the same material is been handed over to you. I bought a army knife but it had a siccors option at the display but when bought I have got without the option the price charged was with the siccors option.
The souvernir shop had a good selection of items. They were priced at the level you expect for such as shop, but they were still cheaper than souvernir shops in Zurich. Out of the four areas I visited, this store had the cheapest priced cuckoo clocks. The staff were polite and helpful. The store is crowded, so it would be difficult to get a wheelchair around. It would be possible to ask staff for help.
Very crowded, not really well organized and expensive. A tourist hot spot... For the visit: if you want to get close to the falls, on the plattforms over or near the water for the best views, you need a ticket. There is no need to get in line at the main counter at parking p1. You can get tickets at vending machines at each turnstyle entrance as well! Boat tours are separate tickets, you get them directly at the various boat piers. Great spot, enjoy!
Dirty toilets and broken equipment therein. Always. Been like that for years.
Expensive.
