The 2023 building trade fair in Zurich was a mere shadow of its former self – I was appalled. The only (but substantial) bright spot was meeting Mr. Rusch Jr. at the Rusch Fensterbau booth, who was able to offer me a solution to my problem. We had poorly insulated windows (including condensation and mold) and rotten wooden shutters. I didn't want to replace the shutters, but I definitely wanted some kind of blackout blind. And because I didn't want those hideous boxes on the house wall, no window manufacturer really had a reasonable solution. Except for Rusch. In an incredible effort (and in collaboration with a very inspired and competent electrician), all the windows were replaced, and electric blinds were installed in the reveals (it's a wooden house). A fantastic solution.
