I've been living in this municipality since April. The streets and sidewalks are often dirty, and unfortunately, they aren't cleaned regularly. The building administration fails to fulfill its duty to thoroughly review building applications. This not only results in the restriction of residents' property rights, but also unfortunately leads to pedestrians being unnecessarily obstructed and endangered. Unfortunately, constructive discussions with the municipal council aren't possible either. Instead, the situation is being used to compensate for the low tax rate through fines and the threat of fines. Instead, perhaps they could simply reduce the number of municipal posts. In my hometown of Dietikon, I'm used to a completely different way of dealing with each other. Although the residents and businesses in Unteriberg are very friendly and welcoming, I wouldn't move here again. I also advise anyone against buying a home here – especially if they don't want to deal with constant legal disputes with the municipality. If you love this area, you will also find a nice place to live in one of the surrounding communities.
Apparently a very nice and down-to-earth community that stands up to the government (which should be expected given the propaganda). As a master automotive technician, I'm considering moving there from Germany with my daughter.
