Don't go to this bank unless you're a millionaire. I just lost CHF 4,500.00 due to poor customer service, simply because they can't read! My customer service representative, an elderly gentleman, would never have done this just three years ago. He always contacted me in advance, but since he retired, no one checks anymore. Ms. Pfeiffer from the Lachen branch had zero interest in customer service. And Uznach is simply a large corporation with zero brains!!!!! I never write reviews like this, but this was absolutely necessary!
Abysmal… If you only have a rental deposit of CHF 6,400.00 with LLB, as required by the landlord, you lose money every year on postage and paper. Online banking is only available if you also have, for example, a current account or savings account. And there are exorbitant fees for closing the account…
How can you be so uptight and customer-unfriendly? Of course, they have opening hours that only a kindergartener could follow. Their online banking is simply neither user-friendly nor clear. The absolute worst thing for me was when, to celebrate my customer anniversary, I received six apples and had to pay 25 francs for them because the shipping costs weren't covered. (The apples weren't even good; they were mealy and only palatable for my compost.) Thanks for absolutely nothing, Bank Linth...
When my card stopped working, I wanted to withdraw money at the counter. I was then informed that the card was old and that I should have had a new one since October 2021. Since this wasn't the case, the answer was that we must have forgotten about it!!! Furthermore, despite showing my ID, I was refused permission to withdraw money from my account because I didn't have the new card due to their fault. I am no longer happy with Bank Linth at all and will be changing banks because I have received absolutely no help. This problem hasn't happened once, and it will be the last time I open an account here. I would have liked to give it 0 stars.
During a deposit at the ATM, a piece of a banknote got stuck in the machine. The note was subsequently unusable. Even though I complained about this on the afternoon of July 9, 2021, with my receipt, the young lady refused. Even though it was the bank's mistake, she couldn't even replace the note. Instead, she sent me to a competitor to exchange it. Very poor service.
