We ordered a table in Italy which was delivered curb side only. The table weighs more than 100kg due to heavy marble top, so there was no way we would be able to carry it down a set of narrow steps, into the apartment, on our own. We initially called a transport/moving company in Zug. They wanted to charge us nearly CHF 400.00 for a two minute job! We called Betschart, as they were in the vicinity. They came by within 10min and lifted the table into our home, all for a small fraction of what the transport company wanted to charge us. They were friendly, fast, efficient and professional.
First of all... this is a family business, and the family is very nice, friendly, and accommodating. We got the front door, several built-in closets, bathroom furniture, and a display cabinet from Betschart Schreinerei GmbH. We're happy so far.
