The service was great , they provided all that we needed on time and with the quality we were looking . Also the guarantee that everything will be done with the highest care makes you feel safe . Muchas gracias !
Our move in October went absolutely smoothly. The movers were quick, careful, and highly professional. The entire organization and planning process was also straightforward and efficient. The apartment cleaning was also top-notch. The whole team was extremely friendly and helpful at all times. We are more than satisfied and highly recommend this company. Many thanks to Mr. Widmer and the entire team! 👍🏻
Clear communication before the move, a friendly and professional contact person, and good coordination on the day of the move. The moving team arrived on time. Their work was efficient. They handled the furniture with care. We will only use this company in the future and would highly recommend them.
The move went absolutely perfectly. The preparation and advice were very competent and friendly. The meticulous staff, together with Mr. Widmer, made the move a great success for us as customers. We are very grateful for this and would even give them six stars...if that were possible. In summary, a top-notch company; we can happily recommend it.
The move in Zurich couldn't have gone better. Thanks to the personal site visit by the business owner, the move was precisely calculated. The moving team was punctual, professional, and fast. All furniture was neatly packed or protected and transported very safely. Excellent value for money.
The move took place in October. I'm deliberately writing my feedback three months later because I wanted to let my emotions cool down and avoid acting impulsively. The managing director conducted the inspection of the items to be moved and disposed of at the old address. I clearly explained which (numerous and sometimes heavy) pieces of furniture needed to be disposed of. Fritschi Moving's quote was significantly more expensive than the competing offer. However, since the company was recommended by a good friend, I decided to go with them anyway. First, I'll mention the two mistakes I have to take responsibility for. On the one hand, I neglected to take out the recommended all-risk insurance, and on the other hand, I forgot to mention that a cabinet had to be loaded at a carpentry workshop on the way to the destination (no detour was necessary). As you'll see from the following, the approximately 20-minute delay for this stop had absolutely no impact on the massive delay. On moving day, it quickly became clear to me that the estimated time of 7.75 hours with only four men was a bit of an overestimate. Dismantling two old display cases, in particular, took a considerable amount of time. It wasn't until early afternoon that we were able to set off for the destination. I asked the team leader to drive behind my partner, as the furniture lift needed to be positioned not at the destination address (a narrow street) but behind the house. He ignored my request, drove off without waiting for my partner, and promptly ended up in the wrong place. The subsequent maneuvers with the truck and the furniture lift were correspondingly complicated, which meant that, despite the aforementioned stop, my team and I arrived at the destination at least half an hour before him. Setting up the furniture lift took another fifteen minutes, and the team's nervousness, frustration, and understandable fatigue increased accordingly, which wasn't exactly conducive to the careful handling of the belongings being moved. ... The planned 7.75 hours turned into more than 12. Besides some minor damage, an expensive garden table and two garden chairs were quite badly damaged. The estimate is approximately CHF 500. In my opinion, this is not a trivial amount, but since I hadn't taken out the recommended insurance, I'm taking responsibility. My satisfaction with the work performed was limited, but what followed surpassed everything. The manager practically bombarded me with accusations on the phone. He asked if I was aware of the weight of the items to be disposed of (he should have been, since he himself had seen all of them). Furthermore, he claimed the disposal costs weren't included in the quote. The quote literally states, "Of course, we also dispose of your unwanted items... Billing is based on weight and time." In other words, the disposal costs are not included in the price but are billed separately, which no one disputed. To later cite the heavy weight of the items as an excuse to deflect attention from the incorrectly calculated quote is questionable. He should also have factored in the considerable time required to dismantle the two older display cases. Ultimately, the move cost far more than the quoted amount. Since I wanted to put this frustrating matter behind me, I accepted the final bill. It's regrettable that the managing director shifts the blame for his own mistakes onto the customer. I feel sorry for the moving team, who had to work over 12 hours because the boss miscalculated the time. Only with two additional men could the schedule have been met.
