I've been using Flexbüro, provided by Bachmann Support GmbH, for over six years for time tracking and invoicing. I highly recommend the software. Other significant added value includes: integrated letter writing, adding notes and comments to the customer master data sheet, and managing pending tasks. Adjusting VAT rates has always been easy. Flexbüro can now also be used online, eliminating the need to update the software on the PC.
After about a year and a half of using the previous miniBüro standalone software, I learned that it would be discontinued. Bachmann Support tried to persuade me to switch to their new FlexBüro software, but at roughly six times the price, plus ongoing costs, compared to miniBüro. After a phone call with Bachmann's rather uncooperative attitude, my trust in them has diminished. I was quite satisfied with the software and support, but based on my experience, this company's pricing policy isn't entirely fair, and I feel compelled to switch to a different product within the next year or two because of the price increase and the fact that working in the cloud isn't an option.
I'm giving one star because zero isn't an option. Six years of satisfied customer service, but now they're simply shutting down MiniBüro??? What annoys us most is that they're no longer allowing their customers to install the latest update, not even for a fee?! ...What utter nonsense and the beginning of the end. Luckily, there are VERY GOOD ALTERNATIVES that don't require a monthly subscription. As a layperson, I managed to migrate my MiniBüro accounting to Banana+! EASY and much cheaper than MiniBüro.
MiniOffice has saved me a lot of work for the past year. The support from Bachmann Support GmbH, provided by Lino Steiner, was excellent, straightforward, and patient, making the transition easy. Thank you very much!
