Excellent service, replacement provided free of charge In 2015, the corner of a single-family home's brickwork was replaced with 6-pane infraselect glass, functioning perfectly until 2017. In 2018, the blue tint in the left window began to fail; it only showed a central oval blue tint and eventually developed a bark beetle-like pattern. The furnace is located 50 cm from the glass and is thermally insulated. The temperature on the inside of the glass during furnace operation is approximately 40°C, but this was not considered the cause of the defect, and the cause remains unclear. Flachglas Wikon AG replaced the glass free of charge in March 2019; the left photo was taken after this replacement. The same defect is already visible on the right pane. The right pane was also replaced free of charge by Flachglas Wikon AG in February 2020 after 5 years of operation, again free of charge. Production and delivery each took 9-12 months, and the on-site technical service was professional, smooth, and flawless.
