This bistro is built on a historical ground where super engines met the power of the swiss airforce to establish the helicopter rescue of the alps. That was a tedious process for decades. The Off Road Auto Fit Garage in the same building is a heavy production company in converting Off Road/Oldtimer/Cars in better cars. Especially great for Jeeps, American Cars, BMW, Ford, ,Mercedes, VW Beetle, Fiat Ducato. I don't know for what car the Off Road Auto Fit Garage and Carosserie is not good! Honestly it's my favourite address for Carosserie and Car painting refinement, engines fine adjustments and special projects. Route 66 fans will be satisfied, just to be, in this bar and bistro. In my opinion the myth of firewater cooled coffee there will definitely never die. The fresh housmade sandwiches, with regional ingredients, is the tasty way on having a quick bite. It is suitable for a excursion from Interlaken City. The tour is doable on foot or every vehicles such as a bicycles, electric scooter, motorcycle and so on. It is directly located in sight to the Swiss Air-Rescue Service. The REGA Base Wilderswil is the birthplace of Swiss Helicopter Air Rescue. In summer 1971, the first helicopter used for air-rescue missions was stationed in the military shelter at Interlaken Airport. As in those days Rega's financial situation did not allow it to operate a helicopter and crew exclusively for rescue flights, until 1993 its missions were performed by crews from the Bernese Oberland helicopter firm, Berner Oberländer Helikopter AG BOHAG. The Off-Road Bistro Jossi is next to this remarkable Swiss military airbase field (IATA Code) ZIN (ICAO Code LSMI Details about IATA and ICAO here: An IATA airport code, also known as an IATA location identifier, IATA station code, or simply a location identifier, is a three-letter geocode designating many airports and metropolitan areas around the world, defined by the International Air Transport Association (IATA). The characters prominently displayed on baggage tags attached at airport check-in desks are an example of a way these codes are used. The ICAO (/ ˌaɪˌkeɪˈoʊ /, eye-KAY-oh) airport code or location indicator is a four-letter code designating aerodromes around the world. These codes, as defined by the International Civil Aviation Organization and published in ICAO Document 7910: Location Indicators, are used by air traffic control and airline operations such as flight planning. . ICAO codes are also used to identify other aviation facilities such as weather stations, international flight service stations or area control centers, whether or not they are located at airports. Flight information regions are also identified by a unique ICAO code.
The Offroad Garage simply does fantastic work! A friendly family business that truly takes the time for its customers and is truly passionate about what they do. I'm grateful that my car is in such good hands here – and I'll be happy to bring it back again and again! 🚗✨
The garage, during welding work, set fire to the wiring harness, then used glue to conceal the remaining leaks, ultimately selling the car in this state. The downtime and damage amounted to approximately 10,000 Swiss francs. The owner unprofessionally rejected every proposed solution.
Good service. Reliable and helpful. It has a bistro. Depending on the situation, you can also wait there.
A garage full of passion and expertise. A garage that does what you want and provides honest advice on what's needed.
Everything was fine. Very friendly service. Competent specialists in various aspects of vehicle maintenance.
