Frutiger Carpentry is not recommended! The carpentry shop completed two jobs for us, and the second job was billed at twice the price of the first, which involved only 30% more work. There's little sign of passion for craftsmanship, and no one at the shop has any idea about customer service. The whole experience was a huge disappointment and we certainly wouldn't recommend them to anyone. We also had another carpentry shop in the area, and their comment was: "The Frutiger carpenters work very slowly!" It's nice to have friends who give you 5 stars...

I am satisfied with the work, but the way in which customers are communicated with, or rather not, is something I have never experienced before. It all started very well. It was about storm wind damage to a vestibule door. It happened in August. I received a quote straight away and the work was agreed to be carried out in week 38. The door was picked up on October 30, 2023, with the instruction that it would be rehung in three days (I have this in writing). After that, nothing happened. After a month of inquiries, three times. No reply. At the end of the year I tried to contact the site. I sent another email, no reply. I reached an employee in the office at the beginning of the year. The door was supposed to be delivered within a week. It wasn't, and I wasn't informed. I was not answered by phone, despite numerous attempts. Then I received a text message from the owner. The employee is sick and wants to call back, but he doesn't. I tried again to call the office and on my cell phone, several times. No reply. New message for delivery of the door via text message, but it didn't work again. The door was finally delivered on Friday, January 19, 2024. Hallelujah. The invoice arrived the following day, Saturday, which certainly worked out better.
