great furniture
I also spent a lot of money on a table from Willisau. It looks great! The extension mechanism is great too! But unfortunately, for the price, I expected it to last longer. We specifically chose a ceramic tabletop because we have small children. Unfortunately, it has already chipped several times at the base (wood). Sure, we have children, and they sometimes push their chairs (Ikea chairs, which don't get scratched) against it a bit too hard. But unfortunately, the ceramic top also has a significant chip because a chair that was on the table (while we were cleaning the floor) slid off. And yet, the table was sold to us as "indestructible." Now, after less than four years, I'd really like to buy a new one because it's no longer attractive.
Very bad experience with the product quality and the advertised services, which turned out to be nothing more than inflated, empty promises and PR hype. An overpriced, poorly constructed table that fell apart after a few years! A table that should last for generations, as other quality products prove. The company shirks responsibility for its work and passes the repair costs on to the customers. A disgrace. We will never buy anything here again. 😡
Unfortunately, I purchased six leather chairs from Tisch & Stuhl Willisau AG via Möbel Pfister for a total of CHF 6,000. They offered—as it later turned out—a dismal price-performance ratio! Although barely used, the seats quickly became sagging, a seat-to-frame connection broke (poor weld!), and unfortunately, it wasn't until after the warranty period that I noticed that the angles of the seat backs were sometimes significantly different. The customer service is useless, a mockery of Swiss quality production, and mostly concerned with shirking responsibility and blaming the customer for the problem—no trace of professional pride or business ethics!
A big thank you to the Willisau Group. Everything went perfectly. We enjoy our new Capri ceramic table every day. It's wonderful to know that Swiss quality furniture still exists. We highly recommend them.
A year ago, I bought four Alessia chairs at a considerable price from an outlet store, and they have a design flaw in the frame. The frame bends, and the chairs stand crooked. The company is refusing warranty claims, citing outlet purchases as the reason. A poor showing for a reputable company; what a shame.
