I became a patient of Dr. Kohlhoff last fall and feel incredibly fortunate to have her as my family doctor. Despite a high volume of patients and an overloaded system, she is very personable (which is definitely not something you can take for granted these days!), takes her time (while still making sure no one has to wait too long), doesn't sugarcoat anything, but always finds the right words. You can tell that she and her team are truly dedicated to their patients, and that Dr. Kohlhoff is genuinely committed and very thorough. I received excellent examinations, advice, and referrals, and I feel very well cared for – which, in my experience, is not always the case. The receptionists are also very friendly. I can wholeheartedly recommend this practice!

Unreliable, long waiting times (I waited almost a year for a dermatologist appointment because they forgot to report it for six months) They don't send you to specialists right away because you still have to see them and, of course, pay them. They even "transfer files to a new GP" (and that's truly outrageous) and a few bills for "record review in the patient's absence" or "phone calls" even though I always mentioned these things at the appointment, and then they forget everything. Weird. The annoying thing is, you really have to pay for everything. Luckily, after two years, I decided to change GPs and I had all the tests and appointments done on the first day. Good luck

Dr. Kohlhoff is by far the best family doctor I've ever had (I'm approaching 50, so I've been to quite a few doctors...). She's very friendly and competent. Even my husband, who speaks little German, is in excellent hands with Dr. Kohlhoff and her team. A big thank you also goes to Ms. Schär; she always strives to find a good solution for patients when they call. That's not something you can take for granted these days, when family practices are bursting at the seams and the administrative burden is constantly increasing.

As already described on countless other review sites: unreliable, disorganized. Waiting times (up to an hour or more) are beyond belief, but they always have an excuse ready! It took more than a month to refer me to a specialist☹️, and this only after I inquired by phone. The neurologist and X-ray institute took three days, while Thun Hospital took less than a week. For dessert (New Year's Eve 2020-21), I have to pay the additional costs of the health insurance company of more than CHF 1,100 out of my own pocket, even though I clearly stated that this shouldn't happen. Due to illness, I haven't been to a doctor in the last 25 years (except for accidents). "Thank you." That's not true, Ms. Kohlhoff😡! The referral took more than a month! The neurologist showed me the report (date) that had been received! Three days later, I had his appointment! Which of us has three insurance degrees at home? I pointed this out to you at our last appointment. You ignored it! Regardless, I've already changed my GP. 🤗. You'll receive the details for the patient file transfer by phone this Friday! The second right arm surgery, scheduled for April 29, 2021, is already being handled by the new GP, all in consultation with K.K., Thun Hospital, and the Thun Occupational Therapy Center. And yes, I've expressed my displeasure on various review sites, with due respect, of course! I won't be commenting any further.
