Pleasant phone call: Today I received a call from Axians. A nice gentleman (Mr. G.) was on the line and took the time to explain everything to me in detail. He was truly very polite, calm, and friendly. It became clear to me that, unfortunately, many things had come together in my case, creating a false impression. I can only say: Axians' handling of this was exemplary; they took the time and took my complaint seriously. Once again, thank you for the pleasant phone call :-) Harassed by letter again! First, Axians threatened me! (see my post from 2023 below); then they simply deleted my review! (also my post from 2023); and now, in April 2024, they wrote again, demanding that I sign a contract with Swisscom concerning the "development of a FTTH broadband connection." Dear Axians; I did NOT want this development and therefore did NOT sign the contract at the time!!! I will NOT sign any further contracts with you and SWISSCOM! Thank you for your understanding! My post in 2023: Absolutely ridiculous! I received a registered letter stating that I was waiving the fiber optic connection in my house. It clearly explained what I was missing out on, such as high-definition television or ultra-fast internet. Or that if I wanted a fiber optic connection later, I would have to pay for it. Yes, I know, I realized that from the first letter. But seriously? Is a registered letter really necessary for this? Are I now being treated like a hardened criminal just because I don't want to watch TV or because I want to forgo "ultra-fast" internet? Registered letters are intended for debt collection proceedings, important contracts, official government decisions, etc., but—in my opinion—certainly not for something I don't want. So, if in the future we'll be sent reminders for every donation letter because we haven't made any contributions, then we're truly living in a crazy world. It's a shame that Swisscom has to resort to such tactics to acquire customers, perhaps even trying to convince older people who don't use the internet or HD TV anyway to sign up with this threat. Absolutely despicable!
