I've lived in Zäziwil for 20 years and knew our village shop even before the Volg chain took it over. The saleswomen were always very friendly. Until now. Just a little while ago, I went in and greeted them loudly, but the cashier stared straight into my eyes without returning the greeting. The same thing happened at the other checkout, so I didn't bother greeting her again. As I was leaving, I said goodbye, and... nothing. Not a peep from the cashier. Unfortunately, this has been happening more frequently lately, especially with two particular cashiers, and if it continues, I'll be going straight to management. It's a real shame!
Small but perfectly formed. Great opening hours! It's easy for me to pick something up before work. Friendly service, always happy to help if you've forgotten to weigh something.
On our two-day bike tour, it was the ideal place for a snack (and not just because many restaurants are closed on Mondays). We'd love to come back... on August 14th.
The VOLG supermarket is located directly on the main road to the railroad crossing, near the train station. The store is well-organized, and the cashier is friendly and pleasant. I recommend it. There's also a pizzeria/restaurant next door. There are people there.
A fairly large selection in the self-service store. Very friendly staff. Customers can also take care of their postal business in the store.
